It's Her Party...

And even though she is still a baby, she didn't cry a bit. Nana Barbara was our gracious host and made her first party very special.



It had everything a 12 month old could want, including lots of toys to play with as her guests arrived.



Ella had lots of family there who loved her and way too many presents. Not that Ella is complaining. She loved opening them all dispite the many distractions and things to look at. But her favorite thing was the big purple gift bow.






Cousin Grace even helped with all the unwrapping.



Nana helped Ella up the stairs for a birds eye view.



It had a perfectly sweet baby winnie the pooh/teddy bear theme for a perfectly sweet little one year old. The cake was beautiful.



And the candle blowing, although assisted, was beautiful too. Mom has to be honest and say that as all were singing little Ella Happy Birthday there were a few tears welling up as it is simply amazing how much Ella has grown - in size, but more so in personality.



There were many smiles as Ella dived into a piece of cake. She was clearly enjoying herself. Much like her dad, frosting seems to be a favorite.
