Ella had her 15 month check up yesterday a little late but everything is as it should be. She is still perfect.
Ella measured in at 22 lbs. 2 oz (40th %) and 32 inches (80th %). That means that in just 3 months she has grown 3 inches and gained about 2 1/2 lbs! WOW!
We spent a little longer than usual waiting in the office, so Ella took the time to become acquainted with a pediatrician office staple - Highlights Magazine. But by acquainted I mean she tore off the cover and dragged it around the room for a bit.
Dr. Gentile thinks that she looks great. She even got to be examined in her favorite boat - which we learned has been in his office for about as long as Mommy has been alive. Dr. G says that Ella is developing well and is clearly very social and friendly. Each time he would leave the room to grab another piece of paper Ella would wave good bye.
Dr. Gentile spent a lot of time talking to all three of us today. It was a great visit, but hopefully we will avoid the doctor's office until Ella's next check up between 18-19 months old. Summer here we come!
