So we are taking a long journey to a friend's wedding in Kentucky and then back home again. The trip will take us about 9 days and 2400 miles. On our first day we finished some chores around the house, got the dogs settled with visitors and went on our way. Ella thought this would be a great time to take a nap...
A quick stop for a lunch of grilled cheese, yogurt, and juice.
Then it was back on the road heading toward PA through New York. And then...
Our 4 hour trip to Philly grew to about 7. Luckily we had good company on the road...
and good company in the car. Ella did so great in the car. She read books, played games, and her favorite of all - sang nursery rhymes. Of course she also slept about 3 of the 7 hours too, which helped out alot too.
We finally hit the hotel, and the beds hard. We had a big play date ahead of us in Philly the next day and we needed to be rested.
